Biography

I am Rafif, a PhD student at the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics, ANU. After getting my master's degree from ITB, I worked as a data scientist and machine learning engineer for a few years. Realizing astronomy was more exciting, here I am. My main research interest is on how the motion of galaxies can tell us the description of the universe. I also have a minor interest in the history of astronomy during the era of scientific revolution (16th-18th century). My current plan is to become a full-time researcher/astronomer, but I'm always open to other opportunities that life has to offer.
